About MI

The Makeup Institute was established in 1990 as a California based Educational Facility by accomplished Professional Makeup Artist. MI has two locations: San Francisco and New York City. We are also a Traveling Makeup School teaching in many cities throughout the United States. We offer classes for the beginner aspiring Artist to the seasoned Makeup Artist

All workshops are taught by Industry Working Professional Makeup Artist and/or Hairstylist that carry with them years of working expertise. Our workshops are designed to teach a wide range of practical and specialized skills in both Makeup Artistry and Hairstyling.
