The Makeup Institute is a Makeup School with Industry Working Professional Instructors, cutting edge techniques and affordable short term hands on Makeup Classes. We prepare our students for a career as a Professional Makeup Artist. Certificates are given upon completion of each class topic taken.
MI's home base is located near the heart of San Francisco's historic Union Square. MI teaches classes all across the United States and is known as a traveling school. Our Goal since we were established in 1990 has been to reach all who are interested in Professional Makeup Education. As a traveling school we wish to reach those students who can not afford to leave their jobs, children, spend money on hotels, airline tickets and the like to attend class.
MI has taught classes over the years in the following cities and is looking forward to teaching in more areas in the near future...
